The 2nd Izmit International Short Film Festival(IISFF)
2nd to 4th October 2019 Izmit, Turkey

Last year, we organised our First 'Izmit International Short Film Festival (IISFF)' with the theme “Earthquakes” from the 15th to 17th August, which coincided with the anniversary of the devastating earthquake in Izmit in 1999. This year, the 2nd  Izmit International Short Film Festival (IISFF) will take place between 2nd and 4th October and the organisers  Art Nicomedia Culture and Art Association, supported by the Izmit Municipality, will be delighted to welcome you, esteemed directors & producers.

We are well on track to creating a short film festival tradition in Izmit, to complement its well known tradition as an industrial city.
We aim to attract cinema-lovers & movie fans to contribute to the development of the artistic sensibilities of young people, as well as to support the arts & artists by bringing together films produced by amateur or professional short film directors & producers with supporters of the arts.

The 2. Izmit International Short Film Festival will be organized this year in "International" and "National" sections. Films in all 4 categories will be accepted in either section. This year's theme is "Art & Industry".

First place of each category winners will be awarded by Izmit International Short Film Festival (IISFF).
